Luke Thompson is a writer, publisher and lecturer from Cornwall. Luke’s writing includes poetry titles the clearing (Atlantic, 2016) and Robot Squirrel (zimZalla, 2017), and a biography of the poet Jack Clemo, entitled Clay Phoenix (Ally, 2016). Luke is also the founder of Guillemot Press, a very small publisher focusing on short form works of exceptional quality, often with illustration. Luke’s most recent project is a collaboration with the Sustainable Eel Group and the artist John Kilburn, exploring European eel conservation through absurd narratives in fiction, poetry and creative non-fiction.
