Lee Schofield is RSPB Senior Site Manager at Haweswater in the Lake District, where he oversees landscape scale ecological restoration in partnership with landowner United Utilities. His recently published book, Wild Fell, recounts his experiences of working at the coalface of upland conservation over the last decade.
