Geoff Oxford: A biologist, naturalist and one of the UK’s foremost authorities on spiders, Geoff is co-author of Britain’s Spiders, the first comprehensive photographic field guide to our arachnids. He had a 40-year career at the University of York and is currently President of the Yorkshire Naturalists’ Union. Geoff is a leading light behind efforts to save the endangered tansy beetle in the River Ouse floodplain around York.
