Rebecca Jewell is represented by the Rebecca Hossack Gallery and she is Artist in Residence in the Oceania Department of the British Museum. She is also Visiting Artist in Residence at the American Museum of Natural History in New York. Jewell gained a PhD in Natural History Illustration from the Royal College of Art (2004) and she has exhibited widely both nationally and internationally. Her work is held in public collections including the Natural History Museum, the British Museum, the British Library, the National Trust (Chastleton House) and the Cambridge Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology. Jewell is a Fellow of the Linnean Society and a Brother of the Art Workers Guild. She lives in London and has a studio at the Chocolate Factory.
