Mark Ferguson: A wildlife sound recordist and composer, Mark is fascinated by the intricate sonic fabric of nature. He is best known for his bumblebee recordings, which immerse the listener in the sound worlds of flowerbeds, suburban undergrowth, riverside vegetation and other habitats. Mark’s work has been broadcast on BBC Radio 4 and performed in the UK, Ireland and USA. He is currently a doctoral researcher at the University of Birmingham, supported by the Midlands4Cities Doctoral Training Partnership and AHRC.
