Mohammed Dhalech has loved the outdoors since teenage. He lives in one of the most beautiful parts of the UK, in Cumbria and has been passionate about engaging Ethnic Minority communities to access the countryside and outdoors for over 30 years.
In 2019 he was awarded the Churchill Fellowship for research focussed around the BAME/BIPOC engagement in the outdoors and exploring how the sector engages strategically with Race Equality and inclusivity in both North America and the UK. He serves on the National Outdoors for All Working Group and BMC Equity Steering group.
