A performance poet and writer, Annaliese plays with words and promotes learning through laughter, rhythm and rhyme. She travels the country putting on ‘edu-taining’ poetry shows, workshops and eco-musicals for grown-ups, families and children, and has produced several award-winning rhyming nature books for kids, including Flying High! and Buzzing!. Annaliese is a patron of St Nicks nature reserve, a former landfill site transformed into the green heart of York.
