Sean Borodale, born in London in 1973 is an artist and poet. He was one of the Granta New Poets in 2012, and his debut collection Bee Journal was shortlisted for the T S Eliot Prize and Costa Award. Other collections include the much praised Inmates, Asylum and Human Work. He is currently research fellow in print and text at the Slade School of Fine Art. His art combines print, theatre, writing, installation, performance, film, voice and sound. In radio he has won the Radio Academy Gold Award for Best Feature or Documentary; in theatre, his work has been performed at Festival Hall and Bristol Old Vic.
