Our 2020 Event
NEW NETWORKS FOR NATURE MIGRATES ONLINE
SATURDAY 14TH NOVEMBER 2020
In light of all the uncertainty surrounding the COVID pandemic, we had to conclude that the in-person New Networks for Nature and UEA event in November would not be possible. In an effort not to be beaten by circumstances, however, we decided to migrate online for what turned out to be an innovative and memorable event.
Given the compromises of hosting and viewing an event online, we were unable to offer everything we had originally planned, but we still had some real treats in store including our live Saturday evening feature with Kathleen Jamie and Tim Dee in conversation. which you can view on YouTube.
In addition to this, we had two pre-recorded panels, both of which are to be found on our YouTube channel:
- ‘New Perspectives on Nature Writing’, with Jessica J. Lee, Mona Arshi and Jean McNeil
- ‘States of Emergency’, with James Thornton, Rupert Read, Rebecca Tillett and Steve Waters.
